On the 8th April 2014, Microsoft will cease all support for customers with Windows XP installed. For XP users this means no more security patches, even for newly-discovered Trojans, viren etc – an untenable situation for most XP owners.

For XP users this means no more security patches, even for newly-discovered Trojans, viren etc – an untenable situation for most XP owners. As of the end of 2012, 41% of PC users were still using XP. That represents a massive number of customers who very soon will be forced to consider upgrading to a newer Windows version. Many will simply replace their very old hardware.
