The O&O Syspectr Features: PowerShell Scripts

by Jim Harrison - October 6, 2017

O&O Syspectr provides a very easy way to run PowerShell scripts on remote computers and store and evaluate the results centrally in O&O Syspectr. It does not matter if the computer is connected to the network or part of a specific domain or work group. The times when you had to file logs of PowerShell scripts on a file server and evaluate them laboriously is a thing of the past. O&O Syspectr monitors your systems and notifies you as soon as a script identifies a problem – 24 hours, 7 days a week. This not only saves time, money and nerves, but also a lot of money.

About the PowerShell function:

  • Execute PowerShell scripts at specific times, without having to use the Windows Task Scheduler
  • Offers the evaluation of the outcome of the PowerShell script and scheduling, as you may know from Linux crontab
  • PowerShell scripts can be fully created, edited, activated, deactivated and deleted in O&O Syspectr via the web application
    • Numerous further modules and functions

O&O Syspectr doesn’t just monitor, it also provides active assistance: the integrated Remote Desktop allows you to help your users directly on their PCs whenever the need arises. The only thing you need is an active browser and an end device with an internet connection. In addition we have further modules in the pipeline. O&O Syspectr can be used on any Windows System from Vista and Windows 2008 Server as well as on virtual machines.

O&O Syspectr offers a simple yet powerful user interface that can be used in any browser and on any device. Wherever you are in the world, you have access to this information for your machines and can take corrective action if needed! Why not try it yourself free for 30 days!
