NEW! O&O DiskImage 20 Server Edition: Protection against Cyber-attacks, now with Windows Server 2025 support

Data backup is a matter of survival for every business.

Cyber Security and Data Backup: A must in the digital era

The recently published report by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) on the state of IT security shows that ransomware attacks in Germany cause billions of euros in damage every year – a problem that affects companies and private individuals alike and cannot be completely prevented even by the most modern anti-malware solutions. O&O DiskImage offers a powerful, user-friendly and reliable solution to back up valuable data and thus prevent possible loss due to cyber-attacks, hardware failures or other incidents.

According to the current BSI report, ransomware attacks have increased significantly again in the past year. Small and medium-sized companies have increasingly become the target of such attacks, in which attackers encrypt data and demand a ransom. This often results in high recovery costs or data loss that cannot be recovered. However, the key to limiting damage lies in prevention: regular backups of business-critical data.

The most important software in your company

What is the most valuable thing you have saved on your machines? Data. And this data needs protection. It is constantly under threat – from defective hard disks, SSDs, viruses, Ransomware and malware or even through simple accidental deletion. A current backup is the only protection to ensure this data is not lost forever. The new O&O DiskImage protects your confidential business data. You can easily create images of your complete Windows systems, servers, clone drives or just backup your important work files and folders.

The licenses you receive from us are perpetual in nature and valid indefinitely for the purchased version of the product, no subscription required.

Support for Windows Server 2025

O&O DiskImage Server Edition is compatible with Windows Server 2025, 2022, 2019 and 2016 in all editions as well as Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows 10. Existing backups from earlier versions can of course still be used. Using the included start environment, backups can also be restored directly to empty systems regardless of the hardware, so that older Windows versions are also supported.

Advanced features for Virtual Machines

With the new version it’s possible to convert image files made with O&O DiskImage into Microsoft Virtual Hard Disc (VHDX as well as VHD) image files. This can be especially useful if someone wants to first “rehearse” migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 because it can be done using a virtual machine created on the current system. O&O DiskImage can also create incremental and differential images of virtual drives.

Keeps you GDPR compliant

O&O DiskImage backs up your data in the local network on a server or other data storage device, such as NAS or external USB storage devices. This data can then be encrypted in accordance with the GDPR. When using O&O DiskImage, absolutely no information is transmitted to the servers of unauthorized third parties.
