Today is #DPD2023 – Data Privacy Day! The day was first initiated in 2007 by the Council of Europe and called “European Data Protection Day”. Two years later, on 26 January 2009, the United States House of Representatives also passed a House Resolution declaring that January 28 would be National “Data Privacy Day” and it is now observed in the United States, Canada, Israel and 47 European countries.
