Easy to use for everybody
Using O&O DiskErase is extremely simple: an assistant guides the user through the deletion step by step. The user can choose whether only one partition, the entire hard drive or even the entire PC should be securely deleted, so that not even the operating system (and thus the license included) is left behind. As normal deletion under Windows does not really destroy the data, it can be restored and misused very easily with data recovery programs.
To prevent accidental deletion, O&O DiskErase uses a confirmation procedure by entering a security code. Only then will the deletion process be started. An additional startup medium is not necessary even when deleting the entire PC, not even from Windows itself.
