O&O Software joins the Initiative Cloud Services Made in Germany

A commonly asked question since we developed our new cloud-based solution O&O Syspectr is where will our data be stored? How secure is our data?

Cloud Services Made in Germany – Maximum security for your data

The Initiative Cloud Services Made in Germany represents German-based cloud computing providers. The entry criteria for joining this initiative meets the standards that O&O has put into its products since the company’s foundation: they include, among others, a Berlin-based German support that’s free of charge and contracts with customers under German law. This features one of the world’s strictest set of regulations concerning customer data security. For our customers, O&O goes even further in terms of protecting data because it works only with data centers located in Germany that store the data only in Germany.

About the Initiative Cloud Services Made in Germany

The Initiative Cloud Services Made in Germany was launched in 2010 to unite German-based providers offering a wide variety of cloud computing services such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The goal is to ensure greater legal security by using current German law as the basis for the contract concluded with the customer.
